The Carney Roundup Rodeo committee would like to give a special thank you to all of the 2009 Queen, Princess, and Lil' Miss Contestants for their participation. Without all of you, there would not have been a contest or any rodeo royalty to make our rodeo complete and beautiful. Every one of you worked very hard. The judges had a very hard job and also deserve a big thank you for all of their time and effort. We had a very big and awesome group of girls, which made this contest a lot of fun.

The girls were judged in 8 categores: Appearance, Personality, Written Biography, Oral Biography, Interview, Photo, Horsemanship Pattern, and Barrels. The winners recieved the Title, a Sash designed by Kelly's Alterations, Flowers, Savings Bonds, Crown, and other prizes. All girls received participation metals donated by Silver Spur Saddle Club and flowers donated by Ginnie Cappaert's Art and Garden Gallery. The first runners up and Miss Congeniality also received special awards. Those crowned will be representing the rodeo for the next year and will be promoting the 2010 rodeo at many horse events and fairs.
